Mutua Matheka is a Kenyan artist and architectural photographer based in Nairobi. His work explores African urbanity, identity, and the emotional life of cities through photography. He is the creator of Unscrambling Africa, a long-term project documenting African cities across the continent, and the artist behind the immersive exhibition FRAGMNTS, which attracted over 4,000 visitors. His work has been featured by CNN’s Great Big Story and developed through collaborations with institutions and brands including The British Council, Apple TV, Glenfiddich, and Kenya Airways.
